Husky’s Adorable Reaction to ‘The W Word’ Delights Internet

A dog owner has left the internet in stitches after revealing the one word she can’t say in front of her dog for fear of being stalked by him all day.
In a video shared on TikTok on Wednesday, under the username @maureenl14u, the poster can be heard asking another woman who’s sitting with her in the living room if she wants to go out for a walk.
As soon as she says “walk”, paw stomps can be heard nearby, and a few seconds later, her Siberian husky joins the scene, ready for that walk, looking at his owner as if waiting for her to go.

“We can’t say the w word or he’ll stalk you for the rest of the day,” reads a caption shared along with the viral video.
According to a WebMD article from 2021, dogs have an intelligence similar to that of a toddler, and on average can learn and recognize between 100 and 200 words. So don’t be surprised when your dog remembers words like “bone” or “snack.”
Our canines are so clever that they can even do math. The American Kennel Club states that dogs can do more than simple counting. In fact, they can also do simple addition and subtraction.

“The ability to count and do simple arithmetic might seem to be a superfluous skill for dogs, but it is a useful ability,” the AKC states on its website. “For example, it is necessary for a female to know if all of her pups are present or if one of them had somehow gone astray and requires a search-and-rescue mission to be launched.”
The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 2.1 million views and 441,200 likes on the platform.
